Welcome to the crayfish mecca of South Africa! Lambert’s Bay is a small fishing town known as the “Diamond of the West Coast”.


This seaside gem owes its origin to the humble beginnings as a fishing village and its moderate all-year climate makes it a popular tourist attraction.

 

We invite you to take your shoes off and take long relaxing walks on the long stretches of mesmerizing beaches. Soak up the sun, surf the sparkling waves or adore the abundant marine life gathering in the blue waters. Do not miss a visit to the internationally acclaimed Bird Island and make sure you are in the front row when the seals surprise visitors with their entertaining impromptu “shows”. 

 

Lambert’s Bay also boasts a great variety of local restaurants, including 2 renowned open air restaurants. And yes, these restaurants serve crayfish in season – definitely recommended as a bucket list item for all visitors to our town.
